                         CIVIL SERVICES EXMINATION 2010

The UNION Public service commission will hold the civil services(Pre) examination,

2010 on 23^rd May, 2010 for recruitment to the Indian Administrative service, Indian

 foreign service, Indian police service and certain other group A and group B central

 services/posts. The examination will be held at various centres across the country.

2. ELIGIBILITY CONDITOINS

        (a) Age Limits

              Not less than 21 years and not more than 30 years as on 1^st August 2010.

              The upper age limit is relaxable for scheduled castes/ scheduled tribes/other

               backward classes and certain other categories of candidates to the extent

               specified in the notes.

        (b)  Educational qualifications

                Degree of a recognized university or an equivalent qualifications.

        (c)    Physical standards

                candidates must be physically fit according to the regulations given in the

                appendix-III of rules  for civil services examination published in the gazette of India.

3 APPLICATION FORM :

The candidate must apply  in the common application form devise by the commission for its examination which can be purchased from the head post/post office.

4 FEES: 50 Rs/- for General and  OBC candidate. Female/SC/ST/PH no fee
